Article 2 – Purpose
These terms and conditions apply to the private boat tours with a skipper offered by Sortie Bateau 06, mainly to the Lérins Islands. Any booking implies the customer’s full acceptance of these terms.
Article 3 – Services
- Essential: a boat from the Essential fleet (Beneteau Flyer 7.7 or Cap Camarat 7.5 WA), assigned depending on availability, up to 9 guests, 4-hour trip.
- Premium Sea Ray: Sea Ray SDX 270, guaranteed boat, up to 11 guests, 4-hour trip.
- Other formats (morning, sunset, full day) may be offered depending on the season; their prices are provided before confirmation.
The departure point is shown when booking. It is currently Port Camille Rayon in Golfe-Juan and may change depending on the period; the exact meeting point is confirmed to the customer after booking.
Fuel is included for the standard Lérins Islands itinerary. Longer or special routes may carry a supplement, communicated before the trip.
Article 4 – Booking and payment
Bookings are made online via the secure Bókun booking platform, or directly with Sortie Bateau 06. A booking is confirmed once paid in full or once a deposit has been paid. Any balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the service.
Article 5 – Prices
Prices are in euros, including taxes, per group (private boat), regardless of the number of guests within the boat’s capacity. They vary by season; the applicable price is the one displayed at the time of booking.
Mandatory skipper. A professional skipper is mandatory for tourist trips. For a 4-hour trip, the skipper costs €300 per group, on top of the boat price, paid separately, usually in cash on the day. For other durations, the skipper rate is provided before confirmation.
Included: private use of the boat, fuel for the standard Lérins Islands itinerary, safety equipment and the equipment on board depending on the boat.
Not included: the skipper (see above), towels, add-ons (Seabob: €150; eFoil: €200 for a session of about 1.5 hours with an approved instructor), routes beyond the standard itinerary and services on request (decoration, flowers, champagne, photographer, catering), which are quoted separately.
Article 6 – Cancellation by the customer
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before the trip: full refund of the amounts paid.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before the trip: no refund.
- No-show: the service remains payable in full.
Rescheduling may be offered depending on availability.
In accordance with article L.221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities provided on a specific date or period.
Article 7 – Weather and safety
The decision to maintain, change or cancel a trip for weather or safety reasons is made by the operator or captain, based on sea conditions. If a trip is cancelled for these reasons, a new date is offered first; if rescheduling is impossible, the amounts paid are refunded in full. The trip may take place in a sheltered area if conditions allow.
Article 8 – Liability
The provider acts as a boat rental company with a skipper, not as a maritime carrier. The customer agrees to follow the safety instructions. The provider cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure, failure to follow instructions, or loss or theft of personal belongings.
Article 9 – Safety, children and equipment
The boats are equipped in accordance with current maritime regulations. Life jackets are available on board for all guests. Children are welcome with no minimum age: the customer agrees to provide their age and weight in advance so that suitable equipment can be provided. The skipper may require life jackets to be worn at any time. Children remain under the responsibility and supervision of an accompanying adult at all times.
Article 10 – Late arrival and no-show
Late arrival shortens the trip accordingly, without compensation. In the event of a no-show, the service is payable in full.
Article 11 – Behaviour on board
Guests may consume drinks, including alcohol, provided they follow the safety instructions and the captain’s guidance. The customer is liable for any damage caused to the boat or equipment. Dangerous or inappropriate behaviour may lead to the trip being ended without refund.
Article 12 – Pets and accessibility
Dogs may be accepted depending on the boat and the tour, subject to prior agreement. Boarding is difficult for wheelchair users as the boats are not adapted; customers are invited to contact Sortie Bateau 06 before booking.
Article 13 – Tailor-made services and introductions
For destinations beyond the Lérins Islands and for certain events or large groups, Sortie Bateau 06 may act as a business introducer. In that case, the customer is put in touch with a third-party provider (boat owner, skipper, nautical company); the contract is concluded directly between the customer and that provider, who is solely responsible for the service. Sortie Bateau 06 receives a commission and cannot be held liable for the performance of that service.
Article 14 – Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy.
Article 15 – Disputes and mediation
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the customer is invited to contact Sortie Bateau 06 first to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, consumers may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: CM2C — www.cm2c.net. If no amicable solution is found, the dispute will be brought before the competent court under ordinary rules.
Article 16 – Final provisions
If any clause of these terms is held invalid, the remaining clauses remain in force. The applicable terms are those in force at the time of booking.
